To answer the question Velted Regnub is my friend Detlev Bunger's name spelled backwards. Nothing more, nothing less!!!!
I met Detlev when I was 13 in 1985. Bunger Cheese as we liked to call him along with Flat Shin (legs were always busted up as he was a street skater) loaned us (1000's) of records for over a year until in 1986 my brother Michael and myself got record players . Detlev, Dave Clawell r.i.p., David Cox , Shane Styles , Cass Wigent , Eric Bradley , Allen and Richard Holowell , Chris Robinson , Dean and Jesse Nelson , John Styles , David Russ, Michael and Chris Hardy all skated together from 1985 until today as the G.S.P. later members would be Dave Johnson , Dwight Morgan , Ed Parish , Chris Coward, Backdoor Billy , Crazy William and many more. Got out of high school in 1990 and me and Detlev moved to Ripple City in Greenville , NC . I moved out in 1991 then my brother moved into my room and when Michael left Jeff Hill from Blatt Box moved in . Soon to follow Detlev met Margret Martin and the two were soon engaged this was around 1993 and soon after Detlev and Margret were to move to SxFx he was struck by a bus and killed in 1994 . One of the best people I have ever known and will ever know . Miss you bro !!!
